Week 3!!! - NaNoWriMo, spiced with Yaoi and Lemon

About Week 3!!!

Previous Entry Week 3!!! Nov. 15th, 2004 @ 01:26 am Next Entry
Hello people~!

How is everyone doing? I'm so sorry I haven't been as active as I'd liked for the past week... I had been very sick. T_T  Remember, even when NaNo is almost like the only thing that mattered in life now, your health is still very important too!!  You need a good, healthy body to write~! Otherwise, you'd be like me, getting all sick and unable to write. T_T

Did everyone read Chris Baty's email? I just got them this week and he is very inspirational.  I especially liked how he visualized the goal of NaNo, and your friends and family cheering for you.  So yes! It is week 3, and by now your story might be bogged down, clueless, and you're defeated.  But the goal is just so near!! You have already slaved away for 2 weeks, don't ever stop now!!!

Let's do some exercise!!

1.  Name
2.  Word Count (?/50000)
3.  Adopt someone from this community.  Just look at Members (ignore pika_scribbles, 'cause that's also me ^^;;) and find someone to adopt and then post it here.
4.  What is your problem right now for your NaNo? Are you on schedule? Are you behind? Are your characters rebelling? What seemed to be the major problem you're facing now?
5.  Read what your adoptee's response is, and email them and encourage and/or send them some advices.  Take care of someone here and keep cheering for them.  Tell them you're waiting in the goal line for them.  Let them know you care.  If your adoptee did not respond to this exercise, email them anyway.  Just tell them that you're here for them.  If there are no email in their profile, leave a comment. ^_^
6.  Remember to respond back to your adopter, and thank them for their kindness! ^_^

*You do not need to post responses of 5 and 6 here

It won't take you long, but we all need love and support.  We aren't that huge of a community like other NaNo communities are, so we should really bond with each other and help them. ^_^  Then we can all go and laugh at other NaNo communities and say we have the highest winner rate. >V< Just kidding (about the laughing part only). ^_~

Ganbatte, everyone!

1. Hieru
2. 32,127/50,000
3. Adopt createdestroy

4. I was sick for a week, and I missed 2 days of writing. That kind of interrupted my momentum and it's hard to get back up. Also, I'm starting to get tired of writing this story. I love this story, but writing it so intensely for the past 14 days is starting to take its toll. T_T I'm having a hard time actually looking forward to write with the same enthusiasm as the first day. >

To adopter

5)You'll catch up dearest! I remember when I last posted in this community, a lot of writers were sick and were suffering with sinuses, colds, and flues so, you're not alone with the sickness blues. XD

And you accomplished a lot in two weeks, I mean you wrote twice the length more than me. Two days wasn't a lot. Me, I can't write much as I like because I'm busy writing papers for school but I'm very happy at the minimum writing that I wrote up to this far.

So, to you and everyone who is still sick, please don't over-exert yourselves and good luck! Remember, writing down at least a sentence is a great accomplishment!

1) Ilada would do so I could claim some copyright to my characters. XD

2) 17,635 / 50,000

3)Um...Hieru because she adopted me! <3

4) The only problem I'm facing is my depression. I had this bad feelings of imcompetence and many others that it grew into a manifestation as a writer's block. I have to keep telling myself with positive thoughts that I am gifted and witty with my words. My kind characters keep screaming at me: Write us! Write us! Write our strugglings, our conflicts, our romance, our life! Don't give up, we love you! Listening to romantic music also helps too!
